Sometimes hard work gets appreciated and pays off !

Hi,

Just wanted to share something that happened to me today with everyone…

I have a gig on Fiverr. It’s not intended to give me financial freedom or anything, but I do so that I can build up experience making money on there and so help or advise others that do so.

My gig is $5 plus a $5 upgrade that is well worth taking.

A buyer ordered for $10 and I set to work delivering. It’s a fairly straight forward gig so no issues, or so I thought. To cut a long story short buyer asked for this and that to be changed and so I had to jump through a series of hoops delivering amendments.

I’ve got to be honest, at one point I’m thinking is this really all worth it for $10 (or slightly less after Fiverr take their fees).

But, I’m a man of my word, so I delivered the work as asked, made all the requested amendments and in the end the customer was happy.

So happy in fact, that they not only paid me the $10, but a $25 tip – total money earned $35 !  🙂

And another nice bonus is that whilst working with this customer I have found areas of my gig that can be improved easily enough to prevent having to make amendments in the future, so overall, a very positive outcome.

Who knows, maybe I can make a serious income with Fiverr  🙂

As always, I’ll keep you posted.

All the best

Steve
